Dr. Sarezh Kamla

Dr. Sarezh Kamla was born and raised in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree in 2016 from Hawler Medical School and practiced as a General Dentist there for two years.

In 2018, Dr. Kamla moved to Alberta, Canada with her husband and has since made Edmonton her home. She successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process and became a board-certified General Dentist in November 2021. Since then, she has been practicing dentistry and proudly serving the Edmonton community.

Dr. Kamla has been a part of the Orchards Smiles Dental team since its opening in May 2023.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with her patients. She finds educating patients and helping them improve their oral health and smiles to be extremely rewarding.

A firm believer in continuous learning, Dr. Kamla stays up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and research. She has completed several continuing education courses in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgeries. Her clinical expertise includes Invisalign treatment, dental surgeries, and root canal therapy. She also loves working with children and is especially skilled at making them feel comfortable—perhaps because she’s a mother herself.

Dr. Kamla is an active member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA) and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA).

She is fluent in English, Kurdish, and Arabic, and works at Orchards Smiles Dental every Monday and Friday, where she warmly welcomes new patients to her care.

In her free time, Dr. Kamla loves to travel and explore new cities with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys reading books and participating in book clubs.
